Community Guidelines

Last updated 25 August 2026

ProoveMe only works if the proof on it is real. These guidelines describe the standard of conduct we expect from every professional and employer who uses the platform, alongside our Terms of Service.

Be honest about your work

Only describe work you actually did, with outcomes you can support. Don't exaggerate your role, invent results, or upload evidence that isn't genuinely yours to share. Misrepresenting your work undermines the reason ProoveMe exists.

Verify in good faith

If someone asks you to verify an Impact Thread, only confirm what you personally know to be true. Don't verify work you didn't witness or aren't in a position to vouch for, and don't pressure others into verifying claims on your behalf.

Treat people with respect

Harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination, or targeted abuse toward another user are not allowed, whether in messages, profile content, or verification notes. This applies equally to how employers engage with candidates and how candidates engage with each other.

Respect privacy and consent

Only name real people as verifiers, collaborators, or references if you have their consent to do so. Don't share someone else's personal contact details or private information without permission.

Use the platform as intended

Don't create fake or duplicate accounts, impersonate another person or company, scrape data from the platform, or use ProoveMe to spam or solicit users outside its intended purpose.

Reporting a problem

If you come across content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, tell us via Send Feedback or email privacy@prooveme.com. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines as ProoveMe evolves. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or through the product.
