Cookie Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

ProoveMe keeps cookie use to the minimum needed to run the product. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share cookie data with third parties.

Strictly necessary cookies

When you sign in, we set an encrypted, httpOnly session cookie so the platform knows you're logged in, plus a short-lived cookie used to protect sign-in and form submissions from cross-site request forgery. These cookies are essential to the product working and can't be switched off; they're removed when you sign out or they expire.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly where from. It identifies visits using a hash derived from the request rather than a cookie, doesn't track you across other sites, and automatically discards session data after 24 hours. Because of this, it doesn't require a cookie consent banner, and we don't use one.

Managing cookies

Because ProoveMe only sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure, blocking them will simply prevent you from staying logged in. Most browsers let you view and clear cookies for a site in their settings if you'd like to do so.

Changes to this policy

If ProoveMe starts using cookies for anything beyond what's described here - for example, optional analytics or advertising - we'll update this page and introduce a cookie consent option before doing so.
